What's going on?

Wow, thanks, Natasha! I did get married young - age 19 but we had already been dating for 5 years by the time we got married. I had to BEG my mom and dad to let me go on that first date at age 14 (what were they thinking!) but it helped that we lived in a small town and the boy was our family doctor's son.

We are excited about our trip to Whistler. Probably by then we will have had 2 months of 100+ weather and will be looking forward to being someplace cooler!

Wow Teresa, that's so rare, being married that long, and being only 14 when you first started dating. I've never been with anyone or anything that long, Actually, Seth is the first person I've stayed with for over 8 years. And, the odds were majorly against us, being he's so much younger than I am.

Teresa - my parents got married when my mom was 18 and my dad was 28. I was born when my mom was 19. They've been married 48 years....
So, Bev.......now I'm curious to know how much younger Seth is than you are! He's a handsome guy (and you are beautiful...so is your mom!).

I got married at 19 ~ hubby and I have been married for almost 10 years My parents were married for almost 36 years.

Krista - I hope you get your voice back and feel better!

Thank you Wanda! Ok, are you all ready for this??? ....... he is 22 years younger than me. I had a really hard time with it the first couple of years we were together, but, both our families have been so supportive of us, it has made it so much easier. We didn't even tell anyone for the first 2 years.

Once you're an adult, I don't think age matters. There was a 10 year age difference between my uncle and two of his wives (at separate times). My dad married his husband who is 23+ years younger than him. They've been marreid for 6 years and together for 12 or so years. It was a bit of an adjustment, since my stepdad is only 3 years older than me, but he's part of the family now.
Bev, you mom is rocking!! She is an inspiration for all of us! My DH's grandparents are in their 90s and not doing so good.
Natasha, I never would've guessed that you had a 20 year old either!!
Teresa 39 years is awesome! We're coming up on our 8 year anniversary and it seems like an eternity sometimes!! LOL
My voice, believe it or not, is still on the rocks! It's back, but it still sounds hoarse most of the time!
